Cortex provides a cloud-based memory storage API for AI agents. The service stores, retrieves, and manages text-based memories submitted via API or MCP server.

2. Account & API Keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. Do not share keys publicly. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Abuse the API with excessive requests beyond your quota
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or malware distribution
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to compromise the service

4. Data & Privacy

Memories you store are private and isolated to your API key. We do not sell, share, or use your stored data for training. We may access data solely to maintain the service, debug issues, or comply with legal requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Free Tier & Quotas

The free tier includes 100 API requests per month. We reserve the right to modify quotas or introduce paid plans with reasonable notice.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but provide no uptime guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or damages arising from use of the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account and data at any time by revoking all API keys and contacting us.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
